Source of Pasir Gudang toxic fumes still a mystery, says Yeo

The source of the toxic fumes that affected schoolchildren in Pasir Gudang has yet to be determined, said Yeo Bee Yin.

“We have gone through all the possible chemicals that could have caused this incident but all came back negative,” she said in a statement today."This is different from the Sungai Kim Kim case where we had evidence of the presence of several substances, including traces of cyanide, which enabled us to identified the exact cause."

YB. When parliament in session, pls moot for heavier fines for polluters. Not less than RM500K. Not less than 5 years' jail. Subject factories for twice yearly inspection by DoE. yeobeeyin

Go and get the weather report on wind direction and time of the incident happening location and back trace those facilities with in those zone of the wind directions ?This are heavy toxic gas ! Related to H2S or of the same density !As sign of irritation and breathing problems ?

Yeo's just gave more questions than answers, more like trying to exonerate the authorities shortcomings. yeobeeyin can say it coz she dont live there. Time to get external experts or we will get the same answer the 3rd time it happens.

How could we allow a repeat of such incident. We continue to allow innocent & helpless Malaysian residents to be victimised. The inefficiency of the Government & its enforcement agencies is also mysterious. The perpetrators may be laughing all the way.
