The Senior Minister said the SOP is to be used nationwide involving those spelt out by ministries, activities that are allowed in MCO areas, the permission to operate and movement for private and public sectors, general health protocols and religious activities.

Ismail Sabri said that ministries have been directed to activate their hotlines to respond to queries by the public. He explained that changes are made to SOP based on the current situation, adding that some regulations in place three months ago need to be tightened today, following a spike in Covid-19 cases.
“We plan out the SOP according to the current situation according to how best to prevent infectivity, ” he said.
