Sony has announced that it will be launching its next-generation flagship smartphone next month. In a teaser video, the tech company revealed that the event would take place on 11 May 2023 in Japan at 1pm local time.
A live stream of the event would be made available on Sony’s YouTube channel here. While the name of the device was not mentioned, it is believed that it would be the Xperia 1 V. Based on the teaser video, it looks like the upcoming flagship would retain the imaging-focused features of its predecessor. Furthermore, rumours have been floating around that the Xperia 1 V would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
