Socso denies it is out of funds for Employee Retention Programme

Socso says the ERP is still in operation and those who have applied as at April 27 will continue to get financial assistance if it has been approved. – May 1, 2020.

The Social Security Organisation has denied a tweet stating is will stop processing Employee Retention Programme applications due to lack of funding. Socso said the tweet is not indicative of the actual progress of the ERP, introduced under the economic stimulus package announced on March 16 to reduce the burden of employers affected by the Covid-19 outbreak.
