NIBONG TEBAL: The Education Ministry has completed its investigation into the incident where a volleyball coach slapped two young female players.

Minister Fadhlina Sidek said that the investigation report has been submitted to the ministry's integrity unit for further action.

"From the beginning, we stated that the process in this case is very important. We have a space for justice for all parties and the coach can also make a representation. The Education Ministry does not compromise on violence," she told reporters here on Sunday after visiting the Bukit Panchor basketball court here.

Fadhlina, who is also Nibong Tebal MP, said this when asked to comment on the incident where a Melaka Under-14 girls' volleyball team coach slapped two of his players in a tournament held in Johor from Dec 14 to 16, last year.The coach concerned, Saiful Hadee Amar, 44, has publicly apologised for his actions and said that he was ready to face action over the incident. – Bernama
