Toll Collection System, Bernama reports. Slated to start in September this year, these will join the existing 12 highway concessionaires which already have the system in place since last year.
Nanta said the six highways are the North-South Expressway , the Seremban-Port Dickson Highway , Linkedua Highway, Grand Saga Highway, Grand Sepadu, and Setiawangsa-Pantai Expressway . All of which will provide road users the ability to use additional payment methods for tolls, apart from the usage of Touch n' Go cards, RFID and SmartTag.
Previously, the system was implemented on Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway , Damansara - Puchong Expressway , West KL Traffic Dispersal Scheme , Shah Alam Expressway , SMART Tunnel, Kuala Lumpur-Putrajaya Expressway , Sungai Besi Highway, New Pantai Expressway , Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Expressway , Guthrie Corridor Highway, Penang Bridge, and the Butterworth-Kulim Expressway . The new additions now bring the total of participating highway concessionaires to 18.
