Singapura jangka ‘trafik sesak’ di pusat pemeriksaan darat sepanjang cuti Deepavali

: Pusat pemeriksaan Woodlands dan Tuas di Singapura dijangka menghadapi kesesakan lalu lintas mulai Khamis hingga Selasa pada cuti sempena Deepavali dan permulaan cuti sekolah akhir tahun bagi sesetengah pelajar.

Dalam kenyataan akhbar hari ini, ICA berkata terdapat jumlah pengguna yang ramai melalui pusat pemeriksaan darat itu sejak sempadan negara dibuka semula pada 2022, dengan lebih 460,000 lintasan pada 6 Okt 2023.“Mereka yang menggunakan kereta terpaksa menunggu sehingga tiga jam sebelum melepasi pemeriksaan imigresen semasa waktu puncak,“ katanya.
