Singapore to conduct temperature screening at land checkpoints

SINGAPORE will conduct temperature screening on travellers entering the country via the Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints beginning noon today. The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority said the move is in response to a novel coronavirus outbreak originating in Wuhan, China, which has spread to several countries, coupled with the expected rise in arrivals in Singapore for the upcoming Chinese New Year holiday.
