CORONAVIRUS | The vast majority of the cases are foreign workers in the construction sector serving their stay-home notice (SHN) requirements, says the republic’s Health Ministry.

| Singapore today confirmed an additional 932 new cases of Covid-19, of which only five cases are Singaporeans or permanent residents.

The republic’s Health Ministry, in a statement, attributed the “vast majority” of Friday's cases to foreign workers staying at dormitories and said the tally of positive cases has risen to 17,101.
