Sibu Malaysian Civil Defence Force chief Major Wan Mohd Jabir Wan Mohd Barudin said the bodies were found by the public within a 5km radius of each other."The bodies were identified by family members at the location and handed over to the police," he said in a statement. At around 5pm on Friday , the two victims and another boy were playing in the river while their two female friends were sitting on the jetty.Their friend tried to help them and nearly drowned, but was saved by his sister.
