KOTA KINABALU: Warisan president Shafie Apdal said he will summon the party's candidate for Segama, Mohamaddin Ketapi, over Mohamaddin's allegation that the Lahad Datu intrusion was a farce.“I will call him why he said as such ... I was made to understand he had also made an apology,” he said to reporters at a Warisan campaign event in Sandakan today.
Asked whether Mohamaddin’s remarks could jeopardise Warisan’s campaign, he said: “We will continue our fight, he has said sorry.” Mohamaddin, a former federal minister, earlier today denied belittling security forces involved in defending the nation during the 2013 Lahad Datu intrusion, saying his remarks have been misconstrued and taken out of context.
