KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal has assured that the state government will not be affected by the political changes at the federal level.

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal has assured that the state government will not be affected by the political changes at the federal level.

“We are not in Pakatan Harapan. We are in cooperation with Pakatan, so I will not speak on this. But we need to work closely with the Federal Government, whoever the Federal Government is. Shafie said this to reporters after launching the Sabah state District Officers 24th conference on Monday . He commented on the matter before the Prime Minister’s Office confirmed that Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has submitted his resignation letter as the premier.
