KOTA KINABALU: Sesi persekolahan 169 murid di tiga sekolah yang terjejas akibat banjir ditangguhkan hari ini.
Beliau berkata, sesi persekolahan bersemuka bagi penggal tiga terpaksa ditangguhkan kerana keadaan sekolah masih dilanda banjir atau banjir baharu surut dan sedang dalam proses pembersihan. Mengulas lanjut katanya, secara keseluruhan terdapat 1,290 sekolah memulakan sesi persekolahan hari dan membabitkan seramai 536,226 pelajar serta 42,046 guru.
Sekolah yang terlibat termasuk sekolah rendah kerajaan, sekolah rendah bantuan kerajaan, sekolah menengah kebangsaan, sekolah menengah agama, sekolah menengah berasrama penuh, kolej vokasional dan juga sekolah sukan Malaysia.
