The 76-year-old single mother says she had to walk because her son's motorcycle broke down.

Not even a faulty motorcycle could stop 76-year-old single mother Siti Merian Sulong from walking about three kilometres from her home in Kampung Pasir Hor to get her Covid-19 vaccine jab at the Balai Islam Complex in Lundang last week.

She said she was determined to get the jab although she had to walk for almost three hours to get to the vaccination centre on June 1 after the motorcycle owned by her son, Suhaimi Husin, 42, broke down...

Fucking shame on the MP. i bet that would be takiyuddin61 . Kalau nk pilihan raya korang cari satu2 kan orng tua kat kg konon nk bg bantuan. Utk vaksin buat2 tak tahu plak orng ssh kat kg. Ceiiit!!!!

i salute this Uncle hope the RinaDoremon will read this news get her Ministry provide transport for senior citizens to vaccination centres and/or best send vaccination team to senior citizens home

Should we romanticise this as the determination of an elderly to get vaccinated or a logistical failure of the vaccination programme?
