Kok menggesa SEA tidak mempunyai sebarang keputusan sebelah pihak dan membenarkan kerajaan kedua-dua negara selesaikan isu berbangkit. Beliau menambah Malaysia dan India mempunyai kesamaan sejarah dan budaya yang lama berakar disamping hubungan diplomasi dan perdagangan yang baik.
