Even university students who should have known better were attracted to the world notorious kleptocrat like a superstar.Najib was the single biggest reason why Barisan Nasional, UMNO , MCA and MIC lost power after 61 years. Surprisingly, instead of avoiding Najib like the plague, they continued to defend him and exploited his cult-like popularity with young people to win votes. It seemed not to occur to them there was no honour or respectability in winning if they needed a thief to help.
The titles from Negeri Sembilan were already stripped by the palace since last October. The rulers of other states may follow soon.
It's his highness prerogative to give, suspend &retract. Unlike in USA, receive of nobility is prohibited by the Constitution and even the President need Congress approval to receive from foreign country so it really doesn't matter since title should not affect his trial.
Guilt is confirmed. Otherwise why should America & Singapore repatriate millions in cash on seized 1MDB assets back to M’sia. YB Tun ensure all funds are seized for Rakyat M’sia. We must also investigate UMNO/BN/PAS for their role in sharing the loot & coverups in 1MDB fiasco.
