Selangor SMEs ask for help to stay afloat

Many companies are buckling under the financial effects of the movement control order, which limits the number of workers allowed in the workplace as well as the number of workplaces allowed to open. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, June 10, 2021.

SMALL and medium-sized enterprises in Selangor are in urgent need of state assistance to survive the movement control order, the failed delivery of which will result in the closure of one in three companies in the sector The Small & Medium Enterprises Association asked for business licence fees to be halved until the end of the year.
