SHAH ALAM: Many party leaders have defected from PKR in the past but the party stayed strong and went on to win the 2018 general election, says Selangor PKR chief Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari .
PKR women deputy chief and Selangor women’s wing chief Dr Daroyah Alwi, who is from the party’s Kapar division, left PKR earlier this month together with several other division leaders. “We still have 10 elected and appointed members in the committee who want to remain in the party and continue with the state Pakatan Harapan’s government’s aspirations," he said.
However, he said what had transpired was also a good lesson for the party as despite the trouble, PKR will continue standing tall and remain the people’s representative in achieving the reform agenda.
