Selangor continues to account for the highest volume of imports into Malaysia. Penang retained its position as Malaysia’s largest exporter while Selangor accounted for the largest share of the country’s imports in January 2024.

Exports from Malaysia rose RM9.8 billion or 8.7% to RM122.
