Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Tetap Kesihatan Awam, Perpaduan dan Pembangunan Wanita dan Keluarga negeri Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud berkata sejak Covid-19 melanda negara kadar kematian secara keseluruhan di Selangor merekodkan sejumlah 10,911 kes iaitu 0.7% kadar kematian kes . Beliau berkata situasi Covid-19 di Selangor sepanjang tahun ini masih terkawal iaitu kira-kira 1,000 ke 2,000 kes didaftarkan sehari bermula minggu epid 35 hingga minggu epid 46 dengan majoriti kes yang didaftarkan adalah daripada kategori dua, iaitu 95% manakala 4.5% lagi dalam kategori tiga, empat dan lima.
