On Sunday, MFL declared that the Shah Alam Stadium was unsafe as the venue operators have yet to repair its roof.PJ City will host Pahang at the National Stadium on Friday while Selangor will entertain Perak at the same venue on the following day.
“After considering all aspects, including safety issues, we have decided to move our match against Perak to the National Stadium. MFL have endorsed it,” said the FA of Selangor in a statement yesterday. In the meantime, we will work closely with the state government and the venue operators to come up with solutions to repair the roof before our next home game.”
PJ City president Datuk Seri Subahan Kamal confirmed that his club will not play Pahang at the MBPJ Stadium. “We will play at the National Stadium. We are estimating that the venue’s pitch will be ready for matches within two weeks,” he said. “Our dressing rooms have no issues. We are confident our next home game will be played at our home venue.”
