PUTRAJAYA: The four Buggati Veyron supercars seized by German authorities recently are believed to have links with three individuals, one of whom is Jho Low."If the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission can get a response from German authorities, then investigators' suspicions can be confirmed," said a source.Sources said the other three units of the supercars are linked to two other individuals who are under the MACC 's scrutiny.

"We hope to get their cooperation. Any information is pertinent to our probe," he said when contacted on Tuesday .Azam said that the MACC had sent a request for information on Oct 26, 2022 on the purchase of the luxury vehicles, believed to have been made using bonds from 1MDB.According to German newspaper Bild, the supercars were seized last week from a private storage facility.

"They were tracked down and seized by the Criminal Investigation Department 7, which specialises in white-collar crimes," reported Bild, adding that it learnt from"judicial circles" that the cars are linked to the 1MDB scandal in Malaysia. The cars were seized after a request for assistance from the Swiss Federal Prosecutor's Office in Bern, Bild reported, with a spokesman for the Swiss prosecutors saying they were linked to ongoing criminal proceedings.MACC nabs two high-ranking officers from Johor water supply company
