The campaign, which was first launched 10 years ago, will be held for 17 days starting Aug 31 in conjunction with National Day and Malaysia Day.

Deputy prime minister Fadillah Yusof at the launch of the #saysomethingnice unity campaign at Taylor’s University in Subang Jaya.

In a Bernama report, he said the campaign would help remind politicians of their role in maintaining unity in Malaysia. “We need to advance this effort to encourage every level of society, be they politicians, members of the corporate world, and citizens from all walks of life, to start saying something nice to unite our country.

He was speaking to reporters after launching the #saysomethingnice unity campaign at Taylor’s University in Subang Jaya.
