SUBANG: Aviation and aircraft charter, rental and leasing service provider Systematic Aviation Services Sdn Bhd (SAS) is set to build a water aerodrome at Pulau Perhentian, making it the first 'water airport' in Malaysia.

SUBANG: Aviation and aircraft charter, rental and leasing service provider Systematic Aviation Services Sdn Bhd is set to build a water aerodrome at Pulau Perhentian, making it the first"water airport" in Malaysia.Chief executive officer Ida Adora Asha’ari Ismail said this followed a memorandum of agreement signed between SAS and Oriental Sky Sdn Bhd to establish cooperation in the area of amphibian aircraft maintenance and flight operations.

Ida Adora said the company hopes to expand the seaplane service to another three or four islands in Malaysia. SAS holds multiple approvals from the Civil Aviation Authority, including as certified air operator, approved maintenance organisation , approved training organisation and approved continuing airworthiness management organisation.
