Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah berkata, bekas banduan itu menjalani hukuman penjara di situ pada 2016 sebelum dibebaskan pada 13 Mac lalu.
Menurutnya, lelaki itu didapati positif Covid-19 dan sudah dipindahkan ke Depoh Tahanan Imigresen Semenyih. "Kita akan lihat kontak rapat dan akan saring, malah Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah Gombak menjalankan saringan ke atas kakitangan penjara itu serta 800 tahanan . "Ia dalam proses tindakan kita sekarang ini," katanya pada sidang media harian berkaitan Covid-19 di Putrajaya, hari ini.
Beliau berkata demikian mengulas mengenai kes banduan Penjara Sungai Buloh didapati positif Covid-19.
