KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) has been slapped with a RM20,000 compound for standard operating procedure violations.

Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Aidi Ismail said the incident occurred on Dec 3 and the offence was a lack of physical distancing among members present at PBB headquarters.

Police said it was the highest compound notice issued since nomination day on Dec 6, according to Dayak Daily.On Sunday , the Gabungan Parti Sarawak operations room for the Ngemah seat was slapped with a RM1,000 compound notice for failing to observe social distancing.
