Sarawak Amanah deputy chairman Hud Andri said the decision was finalised during a meeting on Sunday evening.
The eight seats are - Samariang, Demak Laut, Muara Tuang, Gedong, Sebuyau, Kabong, Semop, and Jemoreng. In a statement, Hud said the endorsement letters were handed over by Amanah secretary-general Datuk Dr Hatta Ramli at Amanah’s headquarters in Sarawak.Amanah also failed to retain its deposit in nine seats out of the 13 it contested.
