THE Health Ministry must be fair to contract medical officers, said Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii, calling for them to be given the opportunity to apply for specialisation or offered permanent positions. He said this will help address the shortage of specialists in the country, especially Sabah and Sarawak.
