THE Sarawak Petroleum Contractors Association has urged Petroliam Nasional Berhad to prioritise contractors from the state when exploring for oil and gas in Sarawak waters. Its protem committee chairman, Rahman Lariwoo, said contracts could be handed to firms from outside Sarawak if locals were not capable.
