KUCHING: Some 55 babies born in the first week of the year have become the first recipients of the Sarawak endowment fund of RM1,000 each.

Well done! Love the clause where the fund is for all Sarawakians babies. Hope they can get interest on the amount as years go by. Just read Semenanjung babies not so fortunate with these kinda gifts with abolishment of Adam50. Any replacements, I wonder?
