Pengerusi jawatankuasa pengurusan bencana negeri Douglas Uggah Embas berkata, beliau mengarahkan Jabatan Kesihatan negeri bersiap-sedia bagi menghadapi gelombang ke-2 virus itu, terutama dalam kalangan petugas barisan hadapan, sekali gus menjalankan ujian saringan rambang di kawasan yang dijangkiti. “Enam daripadanya adalah kes import, sementara 4 yang lain melibatkan jangkitan tempatan,” katanya pada sidang media.Kes jangkitan pertama melibatkan seorang warga emas wanita dari Kuching yang juga menghidap penyakit kencing manis dan tekanan darah tinggi.
