Qari, Shah Adi Ramil emerged as the winner at the Al-Quran Recitation Ceremony Sandakan level which took place at the district Mosque Multipurpose Hall on Saturday.

With 85 per cent marks, Shah defeated three other reciters.Second place was won by Abdul Basir Lukman with a score of 82 per cent, Awang Hadwannizam Awang Damit in third wit 74 per cent and Sabturani Salleh fourth with a score of 69 per cent.
