All TVs under the Samsung S85D series offer 4K 120Hz OLED panels, and are equipped with the brand's NQ4 AI Gen2 processor. Features include 4K AI Upscaling capabilities, Motion Xcelerator technology, Real Depth Enhancer, Pantone Validated Colors, and Dolby Atmos support. In terms of I/O, onboard are four HDMI ports, two USB-A, an ethernet port, a digital audio out and a mini jack, whereas wireless connectivity support includes Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2. Other than that, the S85D series comes with Samsung TV Plus and Samsung Gaming Hub.
Alongside the entry-level TVs, Samsung also introduced additional sizes for its existing S90D series. These include a 42-, 48- and an 83-inch sizes, where all of which retain the 144Hz OLED panel, NQ4 AI Gen2 processor, and other features from the line-up's initial releases.Unlike the S85D, the S90D features the brand's Motion Xcelerator Turbo+ technology to minimise lag and motion blur while gaming. It also supports OLED HDR+ for extra brightness and contrast.
The new Samsung S85D starts at US$1,700 for the 55-inch variant, US$2,100 for the 65-inch, and US$3,400 for the larger 77-inch model. Meanwhile, the new S90D options starts at US$1,400 for the 42-inch, US$1,600 for the 48-inch, and US$5,400 for the 83-inch. There's no word on whether either series are planned to be released in Malaysia just yet.
