Samsung is obviously very heavily invested in foldable devices. Two are expected to be announced this week during the Unpacked

. Both also fall under the smartphone category, even if one of them blurs the line. But the South Korean tech giant is reportedly working on a full on foldable tablet, and will unveil it as soon as early next year.

SamMobile cites a post on Naver that claims that Samsung is looking to launch a third foldable device that is distinct from the existing Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip line. The upcoming foldable tablet will be unveiled alongside the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series of devices. And this is said to be happening within the first two months of 2023. The Naver post itself cites “domestic hinge suppliers” as its source.

On one hand, it makes sense for Samsung to be the one to announce a foldable tablet. After all, it was the first brand to actually put out a foldable phone that consumers can buy, with another device in a smaller form factor following soon after. It even has
