This is one tough tablet Samsung TechNave

Today, Samsung announced a brand new Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro for the Malaysian market. Designed for businesses and frontline workers across various industries, it's priced at RM3299 with enterprise-grade features and rugged durability.

Built at 10.2mm thickness and weighing 674g, this rugged tablet has a battery capacity of 7600mAh which can be removed and replaced. The TFT display is 10.1 inches and the tablet is also integrated with Samsung DeX which can be connected to another monitor or TV. Meanwhile, the rear and front camera is 13MP and 8MP respectively, capable of doing a UHD 4K @30fps video recording.

Running on an octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage only, you can add in more space via microSD card up to 1TB. It can be connected to a 5G network and supports NFC connectivity too. On top of that, Samsung said workers can even use the touchscreen with gloves on. The tablet will also receive up to five years of security patch updates.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro is MIL-STD-810H certified. Its durability can handle most high altitudes, temperatures, vibrations, dust, and more. The device and its S Pen is IP68 rated, making them dust- and water-resistant. It is also anti-shock, built to withstand drops up to 1.2m with the protective cover or 1.0m without the cover.
