The new Samsung Malaysia SmartTag2 gives peace of mind to users as it uses both NFC and UWB to track your valuables when it is away from you.

Samsung just announced the next-gen Galaxy SmartTag2 – designed with enhancements to the Galaxy SmartTag line enabling new and better ways to keep track of important valuables.

The SmartTag2 now offers an improved Compass View feature, which uses UWB to show the direction and distance of the tag in relation to the user. This mode is available on any UWB-supported Galaxy smartphone, like the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The SmartTag2 retains a lot of the features of the previous models – both Bluetooth Low Energy and UWB capabilities allow Augmented Reality Find technology to visually guide users toward their item using their Samsung Galaxy smartphone camera. In addition, Galaxy SmartTag2 works within a maximum Bluetooth range of 120 meters.
