Rumours on Samsung products have been popping up lately. But it's not just about the upcoming foldable phones. There's also one about next year's Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
According to Sperandio4Tech, next year's Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature new camera sensors. The ultra-wide camera will allegedly sport a new version of the current JN1 sensor. It's expected to be smaller at 1/2.76" but with a higher 50MP resolution than its predecessor. By the way, the Galaxy S24 Ultra's ultra-wide camera uses a 1/2.55" sensor and has a 12MP resolution, so you can immediately see the difference.
— Sperandio4Tech June 20, 2024 Another camera that could see an upgrade is the telephoto camera. The source claims that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a new 1/3" ISOCELL sensor, which is slightly larger than its predecessor but also has a 50MP resolution. The increased sensor size suggests it should perform better , but we don't know if the maximum optical zoom will be improved.
It's too early to tell how much improvement the new sensors would bring. Will it be significant or not? We're currently leaning towards yes, but what do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates like this.
