State Perikatan chairman Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah said the coalition's supreme council representative Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man already had talks with Pahang Barisan chairman Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.This development came even as Pahang Pakatan Harapan was claiming that it had agreed to cooperate with Barisan to form the next state government.
The Pahang state assembly is hanging in the balance with none of the three coalitions – Barisan, Pakatan and Perikatan – having a simple majority to form the state government. After the 15th General Election, Perikatan holds 17 state seats in Pahang, Barisan 16 and Pakatan eight.This was after the election on Saturday was suspended following the death of Perikatan candidate Md Yunus Ramli.
