On Tuesday , Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri had said that all Malaysians returning to the country would be immediately quarantined for 14 days with effect from April 3. He said those coming back — whether on chartered or commercial flights – would be immediately sent to government quarantine centres as soon as they stepped off the plane.
The move was made as part of efforts to check the spread of Covid-19, with all those who returned having to be screened and tested to determine their health status.
