Sabah have refused to throw in the towel against high-riding Melaka in the return leg of the Malaysia Cup quarter-finals tomorrow.
Sabah coach Ong Kim Swee, who only took over the team on Oct 1, did well to guide them to win their last two matches to secure their last eight spot. “It’s not over yet, I believe with a good plan we can get something in the return leg,” said Kim Swee who left for the peninsula earlier on Monday as Sabah has been experiencing a rainy spell which made their training base unconducive due to the heavy pitch.
“We couldn’t train consistently in Kota Kinabalu because of the rain and pitch condition. We hope by leaving early it will give us an edge.”
