This after the discovery of another Borneo pygmy elephant killed in the district of Beluran last week. FMTNews Pygmy

The carcass of a bull Borneo pygmy elephant, found with several gunshot wounds at an oil palm plantation in east coast Beluran, Sabah.

This comes after Beluran police chief Kasim Muda said they had detained a 20-year-old man in connection with the killing of the elephant at a plantation in the district. Six people, including Felda plantation guards, have been arrested and are expected to be put on trial soon.
