“Kita ada tiga tahun lagi untuk memerintah Sabah. Kita tidak mahu terlampau berpolitik atau ada gangguan, kerana bagi kita adalah kepentingan rakyat dan negeri,” kata Pengerusi GRS itu kepada pemberita ketika ditemui selepas membentangkan Belanjawan Sabah 2023 di Dewan Undangan Negeri Sabah di Kota Kinabalu hari ini.
“Nama pun perpaduan, bermakna semua pun boleh menyertainya. Jadi, saya mengalu-alukan mana-mana parti menyertai kerajaan perpaduan bagi memastikan perpaduan dalam pemerintahan harus memakmurkan negara dan rakyat. Ini keutamaan kita,” katanya.
