The department conducted the exercise under its Menyemai Kasih Rakyat programme, which has been in existence since 2017 to, among others, facilitate applications and replacement of identity cards as well as birth and death certificates.
"After that, the Mekar team assisted a 63-year-old bedridden senior citizen in Bukit Payung," the NRD said in a statement on Wednesday . The families of the applicants conveyed their appreciation for the service provided by the Sabah NRD Mekar team.
