Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor accompanied Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin at the ceremony held together with the launching of National Day Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang programme at Padang Merdeka, here. The ceremony was open to the public for the first time after two years now that the country is in the transition phase of the pandemic.
Later, Juhar accompanied by Hajiji and Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, who is also the main organising committee chairman, visited the exhibition booths set up around Padang Merdeka. Juhar, Hajiji and Masidi later flagged off a 15-vehicle convoy that will travel throughout Sabah. Juhar also presented the Jalur Gemilang to the various state and federal agencies as well as security forces.
