Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Indian Chamber of Commerce (SICC) said the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has greatly supported the chamber's efforts, including obtaining Permanent Residency (PR) status.

He said the State government's encouragement and support has been vital in bolstering the chamber's initiatives, enabling SICC to address the community’s needs and aspirations. “The chamber has an indispensable role in advancing the interests of the Indian business community in Sabah. “We align with the Five-Year Comprehensive Blueprint , which has guided us in making significant strides in addressing the socio-economic challenges faced by the Indian community.
