The Sabah State Government is considering a People Housing Project (PPR) in Sepanggar to address the issue of locals squatting in Pulau Gaya. The government aims to transform the islands into a tourism destination while ensuring cleanliness and safety.

KOTA KINABALU: The State Government is mulling a People Housing Project in Sepanggar for locals squatting in Pulau Gaya .

"We do not want squatter homes mushrooming..this all depends on allocations from Federal," he told reporters on Sunday.
