Sabah catat hampir 800,000 pelancong dari Jan-Mac

Mengumumkan perkara itu dalam satu kenyataan pada Sabtu, Menteri Pelancongan, Kebudayaan dan Alam Sekitar Datuk Christina Liew berkata angka memberangsangkan ini menandakan peningkatan sebanyak 32.8 peratus berbanding tempoh yang sama pada 2023 .“Berdasarkan statistik Lembaga Pelancongan Sabah , anggaran resit pelancongan sebanyak RM1.75 bilion dijana dari Januari hingga Mac 2024, iaitu lebih RM0.56 bilion berbanding tempoh sama tahun lalu ,” kata Liew.

Menurut Liew, lima negara teratas yang menyumbang kepada peningkatan sebanyak 35.8 peratus dalam tempoh tiga bulan pertama 2024 ialah UK dan Ireland, Jerman, Belanda, Perancis dan Rusia.
