KOTA KINABALU: The names of candidates from Sabah and Sarawak to sit on the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) have been submitted to the Prime Minister and Finance Ministry.

Jonnybone Kurum, the political secretary to the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department , said this in response to Parti Warisan deputy president Datuk Darell Leiking, who had called on the Sabah government to emulate Sarawak and name a candidate to sit on the LHDN.

"Both the Sabah and Sarawak governments have forwarded their nominees, and the Sabah and Sarawak Affairs Division has submitted the names," he said in a statement on Tuesday .
