The accused, Nik Norilham Muhamad Afandi, 41, Mohd Zulhilmi Amzar Zuhaimi, 27, Raja Al Faisal Raja Azlan, 27, and Fauzi Yazid, 47, pleaded guilty in front of magistrate Nurasidah A. Rahman here on Wednesday .
According to the charge sheet, the four men committed the offence at the Larkin Sentral bus terminal here at around 11.20am on April 7 last year. They were caught during an inspection by state Department of Veterinary Services and Land Public Transport Commission personnel on the express bus.They were charged under paragraph of the Johor State Bird Flu Control Area Order 2005, with transporting 13 chickens without the written approval from the state JPV director.Nurasidah then fined all four men RM1,000 each in default three weeks' imprisonment.Nik Norilham was ordered to pay RM716.04, Fauzi and Raja Al Faisal had to pay RM109.
