WHICH concerns you – the price of roti kaya and half-boiled egg or two-term limit for the prime minister?
Prof Hamidin explained that the institutional reform agenda lacked traction among the Malays because the community doesn’t see how it directly affected their lives. Playing the devil’s advocate, I told the professor that having political stability which the MOU achieved would help the government focus on the pandemic which has impacted our economy and health.
“There was a big gap between Putrajaya and just say Kulai. When the government made RM4bil or RM6bil announcements, the people did not feel it except for the cash handouts,” he said.
Food on the table for the family of course. Who cares about the MoU in which at the end the rakyat will get screwed anyhow.
False dichotomy. Why can't we have both? Are they mutually exclusive choices?
Hmm...
The price of food of course...really don't care much about our politics. The rakyat gets screwed left, right, centre, front door and back door....no matter who the govt is
Shud only be two terms max .The longer they are there, potential corruption can be wider. This goes for GLCs and Ministries management. They shud be lean. No need layers of bureaucracies. Thats what happened to MAS? Too many senior mgmt with rocketing salaries n perks?
nothing matters anymore
Of course roti and egg, a lot more valuable time spent.
If the PM can bring progress and prosperity to the people and the nation, we would want it to serve as long as it permits.
If am worried about my family then of course 'the price of roti kaya and half-boiled egg. But if it concerns my career & economics then it's the 'two-term limit for the prime minister'! It's two different things but one are other way it affects a layman on the street!
Can’t both be our concern? Why do we need to choose one over the other? Can’t we have stable prices for essential goods and good governance?
I think two term limit.. We solve this, roti kaya price will solve by itself.. We didn’t solve this for past 64 years, so roti kaya price is now kayangan price. Even durian Rm30 belongs to elite. We can’t even afford to eat it. We can only raise white flag..
Scs!.
Both, damn it
Roti kaya ofcours
This concerns me. Esp when Malaysia got a PM who is weak and subservient
Nitpik again?
